Divorced Former Military Spouse Health Care

When military service members divorce, often an immediate concern for the soon-to-be former spouse is health care.

Health Care is never an easy discussion topic. Trying to search the internet for links, especially correct accurate links on your specific concerns, can quickly become overwhelming.

CHCBP rates increased effective for coverage beginning 1 October 2010:

• $988 per quarter for single rate,
• $2,213 for family rate.

Just because a former spouse has a dependent ID card with an expiration date in the future, does not mean they have authorization to use it for prescriptions and so forth.
