Give the Gift of Reading

When you pay the "Literacy Price", you will be contributing to purchasing educational books for children.

100% of that dollar is used to purchase and deliver educational books donated to schools or educational programs for children.

NEW - 2010

Kid Entrepreneurs

This year we are exploring Grants and donations that will help us purchase The Kid's Roth IRA Handbook for programs like kid business camps, Lemonade Day or other entrepreneurial programs for kids.

Past Programs:

Donating Books to the Children of the Sacred Valley

This year we have discovered Living Heart Peru an organization dedicated to improving Andean chidren's lives in the Sacred Valley of Peru. Our goal is to add them to the list of educational organizations we assist each year.

Donating Books to Schools

When Kids Read More runs their read-a-thon program, occassionally there are some students unable to collect funds due to low income or other special circumstances. These children often still compete in reading minutes for their school. We use the donations to make sure these students can also receive a participation book. What better prize for a child, than a book to read.

What types of books are donated?
Titles range from infant to adult. Most titles are chosen from Kids Read More has over 1,000 titles and prices begin as low as $4.95 so small amounts can make a big difference!

How can I get my school on the list to receive free donated books?
Kids Read More has a listing on it's website where schools can register to receive free books. Visit their Free Books for Schools web pages for instructions on how to get your school on the list.
